The rooms
Five rooms, each with its own character
The Attic, at the top, has a sofa lounge, air conditioning and a private veranda facing the mountains and the sunrise. Kausi East has a private terrace and balcony with the same view; Kausi West has a private balcony.
On the ground floor, Bhuitala East and Bhuitala West sit behind carved wooden doors. Every room includes breakfast for two.
Built the old way
Stone, timber and brass
The houses keep their stone walls, carved black wooden doors and windows, and timber beams. Basins are hand-hammered brass, set on slabs of wood.
Eat and drink on the ridge
Nepali, Indian, Chinese and continental dishes, vegetarian options, and a bar for the evening.

Check-in is from 14:00 to 19:00. Check-out is by 12:00.

How far is the lodge from Pokhara Airport?
Flights from Kathmandu land at Pokhara International Airport (since January 2023): about 15 km from us by road, roughly 40–50 minutes by taxi up the hill. Older guides give about 6 km; that is the old airport in town. Send us your arrival time when you book, and ask us about a taxi: call or WhatsApp +977 974 552 2082.
What is the road like?
The road up to Sarangkot is narrow and steep, so plan to arrive before dark.
The views
Which mountains can I see?
On a clear day, the Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Nilgiri and Annapurna South. Spring haze can hide the peaks.
